Dear Customer,

We would like you to know about the following unplanned outage.

Service Affected: Several server clusters intermittently

Impact: Minor/major Impact

Start Date: Sunday, 30th of August 2020,  12:39 AM (GMT)

End DateSunday, 30th of August 2020,  03:30 AM (GMT)

Status Report: Service Status

Description:
This morning our warning systems indicated that certain servers, services and/or clusters were having connectivity issues.

Upon investigation, our technicians found that it wasn't anything in our soft- or hardware nor the data centres we use. It quickly became apparent that it was all related to 1 of our Internet Carriers. It turned out to be one of the largest tier 1 carriers, CenturyLink, that was coping with a global outage that affected so many websites and -services today.

Please know that all servers continued to work during the disturbance. Some of them were only accessible in a very restricted manner because not (all) data would reach them.

The problem is now solved by the carrier so the availability of our data centres and your server en websites is back to their normal level.
However, should you still face any issues with the availability of your server or website, please send an e-mail to our support team or start a support ticket from the Client area.

We will now further investigate if there are any more preventative steps we can take and implement to minimise or even exclude this risk in the future.

We apologise for the inconvenience that this may cause and if there are any questions, please contact our technical support team.

Kindest Regards
Support team
