We would like you to know about the following disruption of service.

Service Affected: Emergency maintenance on shared hosting server Gimli

Impact: Some downtime for a few reboots 

Start Date: Friday, 8th of February 2019, 16:00 PM (BST) - 17:00 PM (CET)

End Date: Friday, 8th of February 2019, 16:30 PM (BST) - 17:30 PM (CET)

Status Report: Service Status

Description:

As we noticed that shared hosting server Gimli was having performance issues again we have decided to make an Emergency move of the whole server to our new platform.
In all, we had a downtime of about 3 minutes and a downtime of about 2 minutes to accomplish this.

This means that this server is now on our new and much-improved platform with new hardware, processors, more memory available and enhanced performance.
We apologise not having warned you before we took this action but we had a staff opening in the planning and we deemed it necessary to maintain the top quality and performance you have all come to expect from us.
